Many campaigns focus on just one side of an issue—the problem to fix. #ThisIsWhy goes beyond the problem because we believe the wisdom we need to heal and be well already lies within our community and rich cultural heritage. In this space we will elevate “what works” and champion the protective factors already inherent within the African American community. From food justice to arts activism to inclusive fitness, #ThisIsWhyWeTHRIVE will shine a bright light on the diverse cultural and resilience factors that will catapult us into health prosperity.
